“This is an innovation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make the farmers self-reliant across the country,” the minister said in remarks made on the occasion.

On a large screen, the Command Center will display every digital advancement the ministry is making in the sector of agriculture. Plot level data from soil surveys, data from crop surveys using remote sensing technology, information from the meteorological department, data from digital crop surveys, information from agricultural maps, and information from the produce (Upag) portal designed for agricultural statistics will all be displayed on the screen.

It is anticipated that this would assist farmers in making wiser choices to boost crop yield.

According to Arjun Munda, the government hopes that even the regular farmers who live in the villages would be able to become self-sufficient using technology if they are given full transparency and support.

According to him, the prime minister always emphasizes how we can work as partners to provide farmers improved facilities, services, and information while also boosting their potential and output capacity.

According to the minister, the new initiative’s goals are to enlighten farmers about the realities of the farming industry and identify the actual difficulties that the agricultural sector is experiencing.

According to him, farmers’ issues would be resolved and agricultural productivity will be increased by the availability of real-time data and its analysis.

Eventually, this would help the nation’s agricultural industry, he said.
